Yum! We came here to grab a slice of cake for my wife's bday and we purchased three slices. All of them were creamy, moist, and super flavorful. We decided on a Red Velvet Cake, an Italian Creme, and a Birthday Cake flavor. We tried this place on a whim and we will be back. The prices were very reasonable and the staff were very friendly. We will be back!
This was my first time ordering with Rum Cakes Factory. I ordered a lemon strawberry cake for an employee’s birthday and they said it was great, and the picture they sent me looked beautiful. I mainly wanted to write this to shout out the owner Jorge. We had an issue with delivery and Jorge took the time to call me and chat on the phone. Not only did he resolve the issue, but he truly took the time to listen and ensure me that he will coach his team on how to handle problems like this in the future. I used to manage a bakery for several years and understand how frustrating these situations can be on both ends, and commend Jorge for being diligent, honest, and helpful. I can’t wait to order again here in the future. Jorge, thank you again for your kindness and integrity!
I will say this is my favorite cake place to go to. It's unfortunate it doesn't have gluten free but the cake is moist and delicious. I'm not a fan of alcoholic flavored cakes, but theirs is amazing and think part of it is certain ones don't gave the strong alcohol taste. There are ones stronger but feel free to try those.
Bought a large cake, it was ready on time as expected. Turned out delicious. I used two separate gift cards (those visa 'gift for you' kinds) to pay and the lady was really sweet figuring out how to make it work. We had to run it a few times to not exceed the balances on the cards and she was super patient and nice about it.
I pulled up to the rum cake establishment, and there was available parking everywhere. I came in to the place and was immediately greeted by Jennifer, and she was very knowledgeable about the ingredients that was included in all of the different desserts. We chose the whiskey, cupcake, the rum balls, the red velvet cupcake, and the chocolate chip Nutella cookie. That was the favorite of the owner we have not tasted anything yet….. if anything is to come up as disgusting…I will let you guys know, but otherwise five star five star five star everything looks clean on the inside. They have the tables where you can sit down and enjoy your dessert if you like, or you can take it to go.
I ordered a small cake and 6 cupcakes here for my mothers birthday. I was intrigued by the Amaretto Cake because it's one of her favorite flavors. It was incredibly easy to order, the website is beautiful and everything looked amazing. The cake itself was absolutely delicious, and looked even better (Didn't get a good photo because it was all gone in the blink of an eye). Perfectly sweetened buttercream, the cake had a nice amaretto flavor, and while the cake is heavy to hold, it's so moist and fluffy inside. The tiramisu cupcakes were phenomenal and not too soggy. All in all I will absolutely be coming back to try more of the menu, and reccomend anyone who is on the fence to give them a try. Well worth the money.
What a sweet surprise this place is! I had an event at the Bloom Lounge and they shared this bakery as their recommended. Jennifer was so kind and patient with my questions, suggestions and ideas. I’m so glad to have trusted her with the cupcakes for our event. My guests haven’t stopped raving about how delicious they are! The decorations were just as she promised and fit so well with the theme! Thank you so much for providing such lovely treats. I will definitely be coming back again!
Will be a repeat customer 100%! By far one of the best cakes I’ve ordered, in both taste and appearance. Was a big hit, and those that don’t usually easy dessert ate a full piece even! Highly highly highly recommend!
The cutest and most unique treats in Plano. And they sell cute custom candles too that I’ve never seen done anywhere. On my first visit I chose a slice of the maple pecan cake and grabbed a few cupcakes
I have used them for 6 years. There desserts are impeccable. Alfajores are the best in DFW.
